This family tree originated in 1997 while searching for my birth father and my ancestors.
The master family tree file contains over 34,000 names of direct family members and related families.  I thank the many family members who have already contributed information and photos.

The Robert and Elizabeth Gochenour/Cohenour Davidson family were living in Virginia in the middle 1800's.

The family for some reason unknown, decided to migrate west in the middle to late 1800's. 
Based on an old ancestor letter, the family made it to Missouri only to have their youngest son Isaac die. 
The family then decided to return back east and Robert died in Illinois. 
This left Elizabeth and children who moved on to Ohio where all remained except for one son, Harrison (my direct ancestor). 


Harrison made several trips out west and ended up in California and finally settle in Peak, Benton County, Oregon.

I have yet to verify the marriage date of Robert and Elizabeth, the death date and burial of Robert, and the parents of Robert.  I am offering a $100 reward to anyone who can provide documented source information on Robert's death, burial, and parents.  It is believed that a descendant of the family in Ohio
may have Robert and Elizabeth's bible with family information and photos.
