Mr. Davidson, 69 years old, died of a cerebral hemorrhage. Surviving are his widow and three daughters, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Pernal Askins and Mrs. Joseph Freece of Powell. The funeral services were held Sunday.

Near Harrison's grave in the Davidson Cemetery is the gravestone of Urias Cross (1842 - 1916). Urias was a blacksmith by trade who came from California with Harrison and Virgie Davidson to Blodgett, Oregon. He lived with the Davidsons as a family member until his death. He swam the St. Lawrence River. Mary Davidson referred to him as "Unk." She followed him everywhere he went. She spoke of "Unk" many times throughout her life.

Viola was born in Peak,Oregon a small settlement near Mary's Peak, on May 1,1897. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County. She attended school at Peak and Philomath College. She met and married Oliver F. Farmer on Aug 5,1917 in Peak and they resided there until 1923 when the moved to Philomath.
Viola worked at several jobs outside the home, but the majority of her time was spent raising seven children. She raised three boys of her own and also her four nieces and nephews. She enjoyed flower gardening and birds. She was a member of the Philomath United Brethern Church.

Funeral services for Viola were held on May 12 in the McHenry Funeral Home,Corvallis,Oregon. Burial at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Philomath.
